Dustin - I Miss You
Yesterday (June 10) was my nephew's 25th birthday. Boy! What I would have given to call him and tell him "Happy Birthday". Since, that was impossible I decided to blog about him. He was "Bubba", Bo, Big D..but most of all he was loved. I still have trouble catching my breath when I think of him at night being gone, but I do have this assurance that one day I will see him in Heaven. Dustin had become a Christian right after the birth of his only child. My daughter Lil Loveday. See, I will always be connected not only through blood that he was my nephew, but by the fact that he gave me something I could not give myself another child. What a gift! I love you Bo!!
Aunt Bev--
A friend of mine (MS) had me listen to a song that she wanted to send to a friend of hers when she was going through a difficult time. Little did she know it was just the song I needed to help me. I have borrowed her CD and I listen to it over and over. It was written and sung by Babbie Mason. Here are the words:
TRUST HIS HEART
All things work for our good
Though sometimes we don't see
how they could.
Struggles that break our hearts in two
Sometimes blind us to the truth
Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own.
So when your pathway grows dim
And you just don't see Him
Remember, you're never alone.
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His Heart.
He sees the Master plan
And he holds our future in His hand
So don't live as those who have
no hope
All our hope is found in Him
We see the present clearly
But He sees the first and the last
And like a tapestry
He's weaving you and me
To someday be just like Him.
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart.
He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you.
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart.
