Cinnamon Rolls with Maple Icing

Today, I finally got around to making the cinnamon rolls off of Thepioneerwoman.com. I have been looking at that recipe for months. I just have not had a day to devote to them. Well, today was the day. Mine do not look quite as perfect as her's....but....Hey! it was my first try.

I was a little leery of the icing - I am a cream cheese fanatic. This was a maple glaze that even called for 1/4 cup of fresh brewed coffee. All in all these turned out very good.

I must warn you if you try them....be prepared to share. The recipe made 6 round cake pans and one large sheet cake pan. There were plenty to be had.

Sent mom two pans for Mother's day (she stated they were excellent). The final word on it all was Lil Loveday though she said they were GOOD!
